So after six days of lots of fun and experiences – it’s time to share with you. This time, I visited Sharm El Sheikh for the first time in my life and then returned north to the familiar and beloved Ras Al Shatan.
Sharm El Sheikh – a stunning city!
We started in Sharm El Sheikh – a city that has no end.
My first time in the city – and just wow, I was amazed by its size and entertainment venues
A huge city that never ends, touristic and full of life, we did not have enough of a fifth of the attractions that the city has to offer.

Very, very important – a reliable taxi driver you can trust
This is an important rule for all Sinai. It’s always a good idea to dig into Facebook groups, ask friends and acquaintances about a taxi driver who is reliable and trustworthy throughout your trip to Sinai.
In Sharm el-Sheikh, I asked for a recommendation from my father, who has been riding regularly with the same taxi driver for many years – Ahmad.
We were paired with taxi driver Ahmed Andil “as you like” (his moto) who accompanied us throughout our stay in Sharm
And he even lent us $100 because we forgot the money at the hotel and did so very happily
Ahmed took us to the best places and made sure we got a fair price and not a tourist price.
I highly recommend him, speaks good English and we had a great time with him.

A all-inclusive hotel in Sharm El Sheikh
We took Solymar all inclusive hotel which is located in Naama Bay
For the future I marked to myself to notice that if you already took a hotel in Sharm then make sure it is indeed close to a beach or with a hotel beach, which was not in our hotel – but not critical, we were out all day anyway
The hotel is cute, 4 star, good food, constantly music at full volume from the pool.

Trip to Ras Mohammed Nature Reserve
We were in Ras Mohammed – there is no such thing as coming to Sharm and not going to visit this rare nature reserve. obligatory
A nature reserve with a crazy reef, considered one of the 10 most beautiful in the world.

We realized that we could take a boat (next time we will), we went with Ahmad, our driver, who knew how to take us to corners of paradise throughout the reserve.
A few notes worth keeping in mind before coming to Ras Mohammed:
- Bring snorkels and diving masks in advance
- Bring your own food and drink – nowhere to buy there
The reserve is open during the day from 9 am to 5 pm.
The cost per reserve is $5 per person – not including the ride itself

Farsha Cafe in Sharm
Farsha Cafe – Stop Everything Friends.
This is a Bedouin-style café located on a cliff overlooking the sea. Sounds simple but really not.

This special café is built at the foot of the mountain, in order to reach it you descend through stunning stairs and traditional decorations around. Everything is very invested, from the design of the place, the music in the background, the delicious Bedouin coffee and even the menu looks special.
Just go there and even go twice just to digest this special place.
- Recommend arriving at sunset time until complete darkness
- Don’t be shy about asking the waiter to take pictures of you – in our opinion the staff has had a photography course and they are well practiced

Evening out at Soho Square in Sharm
Soho Square in Sharm, in a word – nice.
Opens in the evenings only and is more suitable for those looking for the western culture of music and shopping
For me, on a personal level, I won’t feel so much Sinai’s vibe, so I connected less
Which was also insanely expensive! A drinking cup cost 4 times as much as anywhere else I’ve been.
Huge water park in Sharm
A water park with lots of slides and considered the biggest park in the Middle East – Aqua Park.
The park is located for him in the hotel – which is very nice for families with children to stay in a hotel with a crazy water park within walking distance. The water park is huge, it just doesn’t end and you have to walk a lot

In terms of the extreme experience – 4 interesting extreme slides and the rest are cute
We spent a whole day there, bought an entrance ticket (not cheap) that also includes lunch – fries, pasta, sausage and so on

Luggage storage inside lockers is available for an extra charge
**In retrospect, we would have preferred to spend the day elsewhere
Recommended Sharm Restaurants
food
My stomach’s best friend. In food very easily one can fall in Sinai.
Most of the dishes I ordered really didn’t arrive as I planned them to.
It is very worthwhile to give precise instructions no matter which dish – such as the desired amount of preparation, the amount of sauce, strengthening certain flavors. Let’s say in Dahab I noticed that there is a tendency for restaurants to put too many oranges and citrus fruits in fish – which really affects the taste of the fish. So I learned that in advance ask for the fish to be without citrus fruits or for them to be served on the side and I will put it.
But back to his point to Sharm.
Recommended fish restaurant in Sharm
In the Old Market (the old city of Sharm) there is a cute restaurant that is even a little hidden to the dishes and called Fares.
Fares, in English fares the most delicious fish and seafood restaurant I have ever tasted. The restaurant has 3 branches (we ate in 2 of them) and the restaurant located in the Old Market we liked better.
I really recommend the Seafood Mix Soup to those who like it.
You can find more information about the restaurant on Tripadviser’s website by clicking here

Delicious local food in Sharm
Ahmed took us to Abu Ali restaurant in town to eat the most delicious local falafel in Sharm
And made sure we got a really funny price for the whole meal – delicious, cheap and super recommended!
**Note that the Flamel of the Straits is falafel made from beans and not chickpeas. Therefore, if there are those with allergies or sensitivities – pay attention.

Recommended Husha in Ras Al Satan
For so many years I’ve been visiting Sammy’s sense in my head to Stan. Sammy, the owner of Adam Camp’s pampering senses, is a man who is all heart. Caring, caring and I always come back to him. 😊
The rooms in Sammy’s sense are divided into all sorts – there are old-fashioned ones, just a sense. Those with air conditioning only and those with air conditioner, toilet and shower.
The warm and cordial welcome is always pleasant to receive. The food is precise and correct, the breakfast, the fish for lunch, there are also schnitzels and all kinds of fun delicacies that only get better and better from year to year.

Top attractions to Al Satan
This time, I invested more in snorkeling and snorting 😉
We snorkeled all over the Ras and went snorkeling also at the reef near Mont Island
On previous occasions, I made the trip to Vadai Wash Washi but this time Sami informed me that the Wadi is without water so there is no point in hiking it yet.
Desert sunset in the mountains of Sinai
We went to see the sunset near Nuweiba in the mountains – Sami Mahusha arranged for us a driver to take us back and forth for a good price.
The driver took us to the foot of a mountain (more accurately a hill) and we started a light climb towards a stunning experience.
When you reach the top of the mountain, you see the sunset between the desert mountains of Sinai and on the other side the Red Sea.
Finally, everything is already dark and full of stars (a tripod for photographers is recommended)
We sat with the Bedouin guys around the fire and made us tea and sang “Salem on us and on the whole world” with us. And it was very enjoyable.

Photo location in Taba
Just like that just before the end of the trip, I decided to diversify and not like every time to stop for a picture in the fjord

This time I decided to change a bit and we stopped to take pictures with the famous coral island Taba in the background. Highly recommend!

A few final words in conclusion
Sinai, our southern neighbor, offers so many different attractions and accommodation options, so there is always something to do there. I like to diversify it – once senses and once hotel. Once in Dahab and once in Ras al-Satan. Sometimes both, but for sure one of my regular places is the Husha Adam Camp in Ras El Shitan. If you liked this post – write to me! If you would like to add some recommendation about a must visit place in Sinai I will be happy to post as well. Later, I uploaded all kinds of posts and guides about all kinds of other places I’ve been to. In the meantime, go to Sinai
