Kayaks in Kfar Bloom – The Family route
The family route is the shortest route.
It is about a route about 4 km long and about an hour and a half of kayaking in the river water. The family route is suitable for everyone, families, couples and groups of friends. Entry to the couples track is from age 5 and up, accompanied by an adult, of course. While cruising the Jordan River, you will discover the wild and natural beauty of the north Israel area. The route passes between the banks of the Jordan River, and around you you can hear the chirping of birds accompanying the journey. Above your head, a spectacular blue sky that enhances your view of the nature that surrounds you. At the end of the kayaking route, a nice little waterfall awaits for you which improves the whole experience.
A small tip – from the side of the waterfall there is a photographer, who photographs every kayak that passes and after the route you can buy the photo for a symbolic amount. So remember this – when you reach the end of the kayak route to the waterfall try to smile and look good for the camera.
For the Action Lovers – The Challenging Route
The challenging route is the long one. This is a route about 8 km long and about 3 hours of kayaking. The challenging route is suitable for couples and groups of friends as well as families who love challenges without small children. In the challenge route, entry is from the age of 12, and every child between the ages of 12-16 needs an accompanying adult over the age of 18. The challenging route combines kayaking in fast flow sections and calm sections, experiencing special waterfalls and exciting moments along the way. During the route, you pass through thick wild vegetation and northern nature that give endlessly captivating and adventurous vibes. In the middle of the route, you integrate with the family track, so the tip from the previous paragraph is also relevant here.
Another tip for the challenging route:
If you choose to purchase a coupon for the challenging route in advance, I recommend that you call Kaiki Kfar Blum before ordering to make sure that the same route is active on the day you arrive. We got there after ordering a coupon without checking and had to cancel the coupon and buy a new one for the family itinerary.
Not many people know but there is another track, a route called Baby Kayak
This route is informed, for young children and their parents. The route, about half an hour long, is calm and gentle and of course the little ones are wearing a life jacket.

Some tips before going kayaking in Kfar Blum
- Check coupons online every season and it can come out cheaper.
- Bring a waterproof zip bag for the important things (wallet, phone, camera, etc.).
- Bring a change of clothes.
- Bring food from home! The restaurants there are excessively expensive so it’s better to bring food from home or book in advance at a normal restaurant.
- Bring plenty of water and put sunscreen. Because of the combination of water in the route we tend not to pay attention to the dehydration of our body and therefore it is important to drink plenty of water especially in attractions with water.
- Bring a hat!!
- Recommendation – bring a special case to the phone that is waterproof.
Final words
In conclusion, I highly recommend Kfar Blum Kayaks and in my personal opinion this is the best kayaking route there is in Israel. We really enjoyed the family route which was calm, the flow was pleasant and the water is cool We were a bit upset at the end about the food prices in the complex but luckily we had a cooler full of food and goodies.
